This M12 solid countersunk cup washer is a machined "finishing" washer designed to take standard 90-degree M12 countersunk-head fasteners, such as machine screws, wood screws, self-tapping screws and security screws, and present a neat, professional bearing surface on flat or uneven materials. The 14mm internal diameter gives a proper M12 clearance, while the 32mm outside diameter and solid 6.5mm height help spread the clamping load and protect the workpiece from damage when bolts or screws are tightened down hard on heavier sections.

This solid stainless steel M12 cup washer is manufactured to NF E 27-619, the recognised standard for solid finishing / countersunk washers for 90-degree countersunk head screws. The 24mm countersunk diameter is matched to typical M12 countersunk screw head dimensions, allowing the head to sit snugly into the washer and giving a flush, tidy appearance around the fixing point. Being machined from A1 (303) stainless steel, it offers reliable corrosion resistance for most indoor and many outdoor applications, along with excellent machinability and a clean stainless finish. For particularly aggressive or marine environments, A4 (316) stainless is usually preferred, but A1 is more than suitable for the majority of general engineering, construction and playground-related fixings when installed correctly.
