Refund policy
At Fixabolt, we aim to provide a seamless shopping experience and high-quality products. We understand that in the specialist fastener and tool industry, project requirements can change. Unlike many competitors who do not offer returns for business-to-business (B2B) transactions, we offer a 30-day money-back guarantee to all our customers.
1. Return Period & Conditions
You have 30 days from the date of delivery to return an item for a refund. To qualify for a refund:
Items must be returned in their original, undamaged packaging.
Items must be in a resellable, "as new" condition.
A copy of the original receipt or invoice must be included inside the parcel.
Exclusions: Custom-cut lengths or items modified to your specific requirements are non-returnable.
2. How to Return
You do not need a return authorisation number. Simply post your items back to our business address (found on your invoice) along with your original paperwork.
Return Postage: Customers are responsible for all return delivery charges.
Liability: Fixabolt® does not take responsibility for returns lost or damaged in transit. We strongly recommend using a tracked and insured service to ensure you can reclaim costs from the carrier should the parcel go missing.
3. Restocking Fees & Admin Charges
As a supplier of specialist industrial items, we incur significant costs in quality control, manual counting, and inventory management when items are returned. To maintain our competitive pricing for all customers, the following charges apply:
Orders over £100: A 10% restocking fee will be applied. This helps us cover the costs associated with processing, restocking, and storing items back into our inventory.
Customers are responsible for return delivery charges. For returned orders valued over £100, a 10% restocking fee will be applied.
Free Delivery Recovery: If your original order qualified for free or discounted delivery, a £10 fee will be deducted from your refund to partially cover the initial logistics costs incurred by Fixabolt.
Failed Deliveries: If a delivery is returned to us after three failed attempts by DPD or DHL (or failure to use the options provided in your tracking to reschedule), a £10 fee will be charged to your account to cover the carrier's "return to sender" penalty.
4. Lifetime & Manufacturer Guarantees
We stand by the quality of our professional-grade tools.
Premier & Siegen Hand Tools: These are covered by a lifetime guarantee against manufacturing defects. This "no quibble" warranty covers individual items even when purchased as part of a set.
Exclusions: This guarantee excludes general wear and tear or misuse. Specific products carry a 1-year guarantee or are excluded due to their nature as consumables. These include: TRX-Star* T40 bits, breaker bar knuckles, drill bits, punches, trowels, chisels, cutting blades/edges, saw blades, and taps/dies.
Resolution: Repair kits are provided for most ratchet wrenches. For high-value items, we reserve the right to repair and return the item rather than replace it.
