Shipping policy

At Fixabolt®, we prioritise a reliable and transparent delivery service. We work with industry-leading couriers, including DHL and DPD, to ensure your fasteners and tools arrive safely and within the promised timeframe.

1. Delivery Windows & Dispatch

The Delivery Window: We focus on the total time from order to arrival. You should expect to receive your goods within 2 to 5 working days of placing your order, depending on the service selected at checkout.

The 2pm Cutoff: Orders placed before 2pm, Monday to Friday, are treated as Day 0. While we aim for same-day dispatch for these orders, it is not a guarantee.

Dispatch Timing: Due to varying stock levels across our numerous suppliers, we manage our workflow to meet your chosen delivery window rather than a fixed dispatch time.

Proactive Communication: If a significant dispatch issue arises that may cause your order to arrive outside of the expected window, our team will contact you in advance to keep you informed.

Weekends: Saturdays and Sundays are not included in our "working day" delivery estimates, though couriers may occasionally deliver during these times.

2. Delivery Areas & Rates

We deliver to England, Wales, and the Scottish Mainland.

Extended Areas: For deliveries outside of these regions (including the Scottish Highlands, Islands, and Northern Ireland), additional carriage costs may be incurred. These will be calculated at checkout.

Failed Delivery Attempts: Our couriers will attempt to deliver your goods up to three times. Please use the tracking options provided by the courier to reschedule if you are unavailable. If the goods are returned to us after failed attempts, a £10 fee (inc. VAT) will be applied to your account to cover "return to sender" costs.

3. Free Delivery Offer

We offer Free Delivery on qualifying orders to England, Wales, and the Scottish Mainland.

Threshold: Orders must be over £50 (ex. VAT).

Weight Limit: Free delivery applies to consignments up to a maximum weight of 28kg.

Exclusions: Due to additional logistics costs, Tools and Accessories are excluded from free delivery offers.

Timescale: Free delivery consignments typically arrive within 5 business days.

4. Heavy & Oversized Orders

For orders over £50 (ex. VAT) that exceed the 28kg weight limit, a delivery fee will apply. However, we provide a heavily discounted rate for these larger consignments.

Example: The delivery charge for an order weighing between 25kg and 35kg with a value over £50 (ex. VAT) will always be lower than the standard rate for a similarly weighted order under the £50 threshold.

5. Returns of "Free Delivery" Items

Please note that if you choose to return items from an order that qualified for free delivery, the original delivery cost incurred by Fixabolt® (a flat fee of £10) will be deducted from your final refund total. See our Refund and Return Policy for full details.
