These Woodmaster 6.3 x 90mm structural timber screws are made from A2 stainless steel for timber-to-timber connections where a structural fixing is required. The 8mm hex head provides a practical drive for installation with a suitable socket.

The coarse thread is designed to provide withdrawal resistance, while the Type 17 cutting point helps the screw start in timber and can reduce the need for pre-drilling in suitable timber. Pilot holes may still be needed in dense timber or near edges and ends.

At 90mm long, this size offers a different fixing length for selecting a screw to suit the timber build-up; check the connection design, embedment and substrate before fitting. A2 stainless steel offers corrosion resistance without relying solely on a protective coating. Check suitability for the exposure conditions and structural specification.
