Our light section composite panel screws are designed for fixing insulated roofing and cladding panels to lighter-gauge steel purlins, rails and other compatible steel sections. Like all composite panel screws, they combine drilling and fastening in a single operation.

Options include high-thread composite panel screws, as well as versions supplied with bonded sealing washers for applications where a weather-resistant seal is required around the fixing entry point.

TEK 3 Composite Panel Screws

Many of the products in this collection use a TEK 3 self-drilling point for fixing composite panels to compatible light-section steel. The drill point penetrates the supporting steel before the main thread engages, removing the need for a separate pilot-drilling operation in suitable applications.

Drilling capacity varies between individual fasteners. Check the specification on the product page rather than selecting a screw solely by its TEK-number.

High Thread Light Section Composite Panel Fixings

These fixings feature a high-thread design for composite panel applications. The upper thread engages with the outer sheet of the panel, helping provide controlled support and secure fastening while the main thread engages with the supporting steel below.

High-thread designs are useful where the fixing needs to interact correctly with both the outer panel sheet and the underlying steel structure.
